Professional Women in Building. PWB supports the NIBCA mission and educates their members about the housing industry.

The NIBCA PWB Council is a non-profit association dedicated to supporting the North Idaho Building Contractors Association in protecting and promoting the building industry. We strive to be a positive influence in our communities through civic and educational projects and awareness of governmental issues.
General Membership Meetings
PWB members have access to professional development, networking, business connections, mentorship and leadership opportunities keeps the wheels turning, and helps keep the number of women in the industry growing and increasing in influence every year. From business owners to industry experts, to students – Professional Women in Building provides resources that women affiliated with the building industry want and need! PWB Meets Monthly on the Second Friday from 12pm-1pm. Register for the next Luncheon.

PWB Scholarship

Every year we give a scholarship to students entering or currently enrolled in a building-related field at any Idaho college. Qualifying programs include (but not limited to) Carpentry and Construction Technology, Computer-Aided Design- Architecture and Mechanical, HVAC related fields, Industrial and Mechanic/Millwright, Welding, and Construction Management. Applicants must completely fill out and provide information about themselves and their fields with proof of enrollment. This scholarship isn’t just about what the candidates are going to school for, it’s about what we feel they have to offer the future generations in the building industry.
The deadline to apply is April 28, 2023
