The North Idaho Building Contractors Association provides a wide variety of membership and public events throughout the year. Our most current upcoming events are listed below. Please note that most events require an RSVP. For additional details about each event, and an opportunity to register, contact the NIBCA office.

General Membership Meetings

These opportunities happen 5 times a year. 2020 dates are to be determined. Your cost is between $22 and $25 per person and includes your meal. These meetings include a social hour, breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and a special guest speaker. There are opportunities to be the host of the event or to have a table-top and speaking opportunity on the agenda. If you attend, you will be informed about the association’s previous and future activities. 

Home and Garden Show

The March show marks the end of winter and start of spring with beautiful landscaping, home improvement contractors, crafts, and much more. Be prepared to be awed by a large showcase of beautiful landscape & interior designs, specialty companies, remodeling specialists, manufacturers, retail stores and contractors. This is the perfect place to be inspired to improve your home.

Meet the experts who have the ideas and solutions you need to make your home your own both inside and out. Touch, see and feel fully built landscape and water features by local landscapers who will be there ready to turn your backyard into a retreat. Get started on your spring projects. Be inspired and then create the home of your dreams.

Parade of Homes

The NIBCA Parade of Homes showcases new homes for 2 weekends in September. The dates for the 2020 Parade of Homes are September 12th & 13th, and the following weekend September 18th through 20th. The event allows those in our community a unique opportunity to tour new homes, search for professional builders, and discuss your ideas with experts that can help you build your dream home. Homes are in all price ranges.

Houses are judged prior to the first weekend based on criteria such as quality workmanship, floor plan, and curb appeal. Winners are announced during the Night of Awards event the Friday before the show.

Gone Wild

This is a unique event takes place every year on the first Thursday in November. There are around 400 people in attendance and the event includes dinner, live auctions, silent auctions, raffles, dice games, card games, and more. 40+ guns will be given away to lucky attendees throughout the night.

In 2020 the event will take place at the Best Western Plus Coeur d’Alene Inn on November 5th from 4:30 to 8:00 pm. The event sells out early every year! Contact the NIBCA office for more information.
