NIBCA 2022 Award Winners

Each year NIBCA Board Members nominate for Company, Builder, and Associate of the year based upon their involvement with NIBCA, IBCA, NAHB, and the community.

Nominees are those from the membership who made significant contributions to the community of time, money, and other activities which add to the welfare of the entire community. They are active in NIBCA at many levels including chairmanship of a committee, membership involvement, recruitment, and other positions of leadership.

Amie Pace has made an impressive mark on our community in the year of 2022. She was appointed president of PWB, obtained a grant to put the ‘House that she Built’ books into 1st grade classrooms throughout the community, and was appointed as a trustee to the Idaho Building Contractors Association Benefit Trust Fund. The trust fund is dedicated to providing discounted insurance plans for this industry at a state level. She has been Co-Chair for the Education Committee assisting with the Build Across America, Pet Parade of Homes and Student Chapter.

Amie is passionate about the dream of homeownership and helping families fulfill this dream. She loves helping them build generational wealth through homeownership. In order to continue doing what she loves, Amie knows how important it is to be a part of the future decisions that can affect the building industry and that it’s imperative to advocate for housing affordability and educate the community on career opportunities. She also just got her Building Contractors License.

Stefani Hoffman has an incredible work ethic and commitment to giving back to the community. She is an active member of the Professional Women Builders, she serves as the Education Committee Chair, and sits on the Parade of Homes and the Home and Garden Show Committees.

Additionally, Stefani started the first NIBCA Student Chapter with over 25 student members, participated in the Build Across America, assisted PWB in getting the House that she Built book into 1st grade classrooms and Celebrated the First Pet Parade of Homes that used STEM curriculum for kids grades K-12.

In her personal world, she is part owner of Lake Creek Comfort, certified as a secondary and post-secondary teacher and College/Career Counselor; professional STEM Role Model; Member of the Board for North Idaho College Workforce Training program; she holds a bachelors in range management and plant science from U of I.

Gary served as 2022 President and as we heard earlier has set up the organization for future success. With his membership Goals, President’s Challenge, Economic Summit, and his dedication to telling our story to the region. He advocated on our behalf for a grant to help NIBCA spread the Pro-Growth message that will come this year. Gary sat as the Joint Government Issues Chair, and a member of NIB-PAC and the membership committee. Gary is a second generation builder and has been building for more than 35 years in Alaska and North Idaho.

Dale served as 2nd Vice President and was sworn in tonight as 1st Vice President- He will hold the Role of President in 2024. He served as the Public Relations Chair which took on a lot in 2022. Starting with zero in his budget and handing off the committee with a $45,000 budget to promote the building industry in North Idaho. He led the team on rebranding, videos, design, and increased social media. Dale also received Life Spike in a record breaking 6 weeks. Dale is an Idaho Certified Master Builder.

Jessica stepped in mid-year as Secretary for PWB and was voted in as Vice President of PWB in December. She will hold PWB President position in 2024. She was added as a Builder Liaison Co-Committee Chair with the Parade of Homes and has already worked diligently to improve the Builder/Committee communications, made changes to the event that benefit the Builders and listened patiently to their concerns.

Together they own North Ridge Homes creating Custom Homes, they contribute to Second Harvest, sponsor College of Idaho’s soft ball team, work with their local HOA and as a Love Box Leader with Spokane Angels supporting foster children and families in the area.
